french keyboards are the bane of my existence...you wait two months to check your email, you spend the whole time backspacing. anyway SYDNEY'S here, right now. we're rocking tana tourist-style till saturday morning, then heading back to the homestead. i just finished IST, also known as in-service training, where all of us health volunteers got together for a few glorious days of telling stories from our first few months in our towns, eating brownies and macaroni and cheese, and experiencing more structure, and therefore more stress, than we have in four months. it made me wonder if any of us will ever, one day, get used to life in the fast lane that is america. i already can't imagine it after just a few months.
PS i lost my cell phone, totally lame i know. it fell out of my pocket in a taxi here in tana a few nights ago, and we called it a couple times but the driver decided to be a jerk and steal it. so 70,000 ariary later, here's my new number, should you need/want it: 261.32.55.727.83. the old one is no longer in my hands, so don't call it unless you know enough malagasy to give a taxi driver a piece of your mind...and if you do, please do call, by all means.
alright, the internet time's about to run out, see you all next time, same bat time, same bat channel.

Love, Aunt Sue
You and Sydney must be having a great time! We think of you often - and were so excited to see a blog post. Take care - and we will look forward to the next post! Love, Miss Anne and Mike
Hey Kathryn, Sounds like you and Syndey are living the high life! Personally, when we have family visit, mac and cheese often plays a big part (in that Andy asks THEM to deliver from the US!). Hope you enjoyed it as much as he does! As for the cell phone - that's a bummer. 70,000 ariary is probably lots of..... well, lots of something in Tana? Enjoy Sydney's vist and we look forward to your next blog. We are always thinking of you. Love, Beth and Andy
Yea! Sydney's there! That makes me very happy. Thanks for the update! I miss you!
